Parties are super-cool with knobs on. Even if the boy you fancy (HOOOOOORN!) spends the whole night snogging a wet-lindsay-type (??!!!), you can always take out your horns, and of course your paddles, and dance the Viking disco inferno! And now summer is here, so every day should be a Paaar—tayyyy Day!
And you’re lucky you’ve got us to tell you that the coolest thing to do is to have a swishing party to swap clothes and gossip with your friends!
There are always some really quite groovy clothes (and maybe some un-groovy ones if we’re honest) in your wardrobe that you just don’t wear anymore, so get swapping with some chummly-wummlies to stay stylish and save your moolah! In these credit-crunchy* times it’s all about being creative with your look instead of spluuurging.
*Credit crunch might sound like a breakfast cereal but actually it’s quite a serious thing to do with no one having any money don’t you know. You do know? Oh.
Send out party invites and ask friends to bring:
Up to four items of cool (and clean, obviously) clothing
Up to two accessories (hats, bags, belts, scarves, jewellery, shoes)
One yummy thing to eat (cookies, muffins, crisps. No broccoli, etc)
Mix and match! Try on the clothes, accessorize, do a catwalk, take some photos and go home with a whole new wardrobe!
